When Formula D came to Florida we wanted to go all out seeing as it was on our home turf. We enlisted the help of as much media personnel as John P. would let me. I called my friend Mikey Bajer, a film student, to come shoot a great video for us. Formula Drift makes it to Wall Speedway in NJ for their 8th time. It was hot, muggy and after swallowing mouth loads of rubber and inhaling gallons of tire smoke; I can honestly say it was a great time! This is one of the smaller courses on the FD schedule, but due to its high banks and figure 8 infield, it created some of the best FD action I’ve seen this season. Here are some shots from Day 1 (Friday) of Formula Drift Round 2 in Atlanta. Friday was the day for Pro Am Practice, Qualifying and Competition with some Pro practice and Qualifying mixed in. It was great to see all of the Florida drivers out there kicking butt…hell, 10 out of the 16 drivers that qualified in Pro Am and 2 of the 3 winners of the competition were Florida drivers.
