For those that do not know what Art Basel is; it is an internatinl art festival that takes place in the heart of the greatlest place on earth, Miami. Every style of work is showcased in and on the streets of Miami. It originated as Art 43 Basel, established in Switzerland in 1970. As most of you know the NSCRA is a South Florida based Sport Compact Drag Racing Sanction hosting all their events in Palm Beach; founded by two ex-racers committed to bringing life back into what once was the heart of our import automotive community. The downfall sometimes to always being in FL is that our summers are known for rainstorms to appear on clear sunny days; drenching everything in its path. Here it is…the finale to our three part coverage of Formula D Round 3. I can’t believe it has been 2 weeks since the event and Round 4 is this weekend! . . . . . . Opening ceremonies are a great way to be introduced to the top 16 drivers and grab some free shirts thrown by your favorite drifter or model. JTP and Matt Powers battling it out. JTP and D MAC getting very close. D MAC and Chris Forsberg inches from each other. . . It was an all Falken podium with Justin Pawlak in first, Vaugh Gittin JR in second and Darren McNamara in third!
