It was early in the race that Butch Leitzinger put the #43 Dyson Racing Lola B09/86 Mazda into the wall, effectively forcing them out of the race.    The day continued with multiple accidents forcing two other cars (#64 Jet Alliance Lotus Evora & #1 Audi Sport R18) out of the race, and mechanical problems shortening the day of eight other cars.
