Nessen Forged
posted by Leo Diaz
Over the recent years, wheel companies have popped up all over South Florida faster than self-serve yogurt franchises. Nessen Forged however, did things a little differently. Since its inception, proprietor and good friend Jonathan Cruz, took his time and did not rush the startup process. He mentioned to me in a meeting over the weekend that he did this because he wanted everything to be perfect before he introduced the brand to the open public. Also stating that he was not looking to reinvent the wheel, just make it fresher and better. What caught my eye about Nessen is the fact that Jonathan is an active member of our automotive...

I seems that even here in Cape Town, South Africa there are builds that are worth following. This S2000 is no different. The S2000 is a very finely tuned machine right from Honda, so any mods from there are pretty much icing on the cake. While this build is still under construction, it is...

Car: Lexus GS300 Owner: Kam Vaswani Word By: Leo Diaz Photos By: Rsellos There is a lot that can be said about the owner of this Lexus; Kam Vaswani. Kam is just like you and me in that he loves cars, loves modding and loves our scene. Then again he is nothing like you and me in the fact that he sees this lifestyle as a series of challenges in which he only wants to conquer. Oh, and conquered he has. He built this masterpiece because, “…thieves never get me down.” After having his K20 EG stolen and most likely stripped to shreds; Kam didn’t give up. Taking 1st Place at HIN Miami in the EG meant he could build a car that was...

Some time ago, Speedline Film Werks reached out to State of Stance with their most recent work. It is a film featuring Ben Thomas and his B5 Wagon. After seeing the clip I knew it was something I wanted to share with all our readers and fans. I hope to be sharing more of Speedline’s work in the upcoming future, but for now, we are very proud to exclusively debut Ben’s B5 as seen by Speedline Film...

Do you remember a couple of weeks ago when we featured the Blaze Orange EM1 with the K20 (Counting Pennies)? It’s part of a much larger crew (Kindred Impulse), which had cars breaking necks at Import Alliance this year. Today we bring you one of their heavy hitters. Justin Goad’s 2003 Lancer Evolution VIII. As a member of the U.S. Navy, Justin was found out he was embarking on a 7-month deployment. Think of it… … a whole 7 months to rack up parts while your away. A whole 7 months of extra money to spend on your car! When Justin returned to the U.S. he had roughly $5k in parts to install. He began with the...

Next time, I’m bringing an extra pair of socks and some swim trunks. I would suggest you all do the...

NSCRA Round 3, Rain’d Out but not a Wash Out
posted by Frank Leon
As most of you know the NSCRA is a South Florida based Sport Compact Drag Racing Sanction hosting all their events in Palm Beach; founded by two ex-racers committed to bringing life back into what once was the heart of our import automotive community. The downfall sometimes to always being in FL is that our summers are known for rainstorms to appear on clear sunny days; drenching everything in its path. This Saturday at Palm Beach International Raceway was no different; what started out to be a great Saturday at the track, soon tuned into people taking cover in the nearest tent and hoping it didn’t blow away...
