Saying goodbye to Dan Wheldon

As the sun was high in the sky over Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the IZOD IndyCar 300 went green sending out 34 drivers on a 300 mile journey to the checkered flag. Concerns circled throughout the paddocks as drivers debated the high bank of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, yet the race continued, but only to end in dismay. Dan Wheldon (33) was an English born two time Indianapolis 500 winner who was a high spirited, inspiring individual to all who met and knew him.
